What is Move and Flow Fitness?

Move and Flow Fitness is a unique fitness program that incorporates cardio dance, Pilates, yoga, ballet, the stability ball, light hand weights and band resistance training. It is a playful workout that develops muscle, helps improve the metabolism, improves flexibility, posture, balance and strength. A strong and graceful workout that gives an over-all sensation of feeling fabulous!

The MOVE portion of my fitness is dance cardio. A fun cardio workout that pulls from all dance forms - ballet to burlesque!
Dance fitness is an effective way to burn calories (nearly 500 in an hour!), improve coordination and balance, and also strengthen the weight bearing bones (femur, tibia, and fibula) thus helping to prevent or slow down the loss of bone mass.
The FLOW portion of my fitness progream consists of fluid strength building exercises
inspired from the dance world and steeped with the principles and methods of Pilates and yoga. These exercises are effective in strength building and core stabilizing.
I call them FLOW exercises because, 1) you flow into them working compound muscles and developing strength in the accessory muscles 2) the muscle tone that results is "flowing", lean and strong, not bulky. (The FLOW portion of fitness is what I concentrate on predominately in private training sessions).

Whether you are taking just one Saturday morning class, an entire month long boot-camp, or working with me one-on-one, you will definitely notice the difference in your body as well as in your attitude. You will feel stronger, sexier, more balanced and beautiful.
Leaders in the dance and the fitness world who have inspired my approach to fitness are: Joseph Pilates, Martha Graham, Eric Franklin, Tracy Anderson and Bob Fosse.
